Product Hashes

If you need to verify the authenticity of Confinet installation files, we provide their hashes computed with Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA-1).

If you are using Windows, you can check the hash value of a file with the command line utility fciv. It can be downloaded from Microsoft; however, be sure to pass it the -sha1 option for Confinet files.

There are many other utilities and applications that can compute the SHA-1 hash value of a file. For example, the 7-Zip utility provides a graphical user interface for computing the hash value of a file.

On macOS and Linux, you can type shasum in a Terminal window, followed by the name of the installation file, to determine the SHA-1 hash of the file (e.g. shasum client.dmg).

If you compute the hash value of an alleged Confinet installation file you have obtained from any source and it differs from the one given here, do not proceed with the installation and delete the file!
